Philip Wilheit, Sr.

Philip began working at Wilheit Packaging Materials right out of college and now has 40 years experience in the Packaging business. He has worked in all facets of the organization--warehousing, delivery, purchasing, sales and management. He currently serves as President and Managing Partner. Philip has been very active in civic affairs on the state and local level, having served as Chairman of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce in 2001 and currently serves on the Georgia Department of Economic Development and also the Commission for a New Georgia. He has been Chairman of the Gainesville/Hall Development Authority for the last 30 years. He also serves as Chairman of the Board of Gainesville Bank and Trust and Chairman of GBTBankshares.
